The Cottage
This stylish property was built in 2008 and is set in beautiful surroundings in the picturesque Lune Valley, which lies conveniently between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The Meadows is a high quality development in the grounds of Whoop Hall Hotel, just a mile from the attractive historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The property boasts wonderful views over the surrounding countryside from the kitchen, sitting room and south facing private patio, which makes an ideal spot for that pre-dinner aperitif or outdoor dining.
Top Meadow Cottage is furnished to a high standard and provides a very comfortable and relaxing break at any time of year.
Ground Floor
The ground floor has an entrance lobby with a door to the utility area which houses the washer/dryer. There is an open-plan kitchen and dining area with glazed doors to the patio with garden furniture.
Kitchen: The kitchen has everything that you will need, including: Gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and iron/ironing board. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, cling film, foil and sandwich bags are all provided. There is also a dining table with six chairs and the kitchen has underfloor heating.
Sitting Room: The sitting room features a floor-to-ceiling window plus comfortable, warm contemporary furnishings which are of a high standard, including leather sofas, digital TV and DVD and a wall mounted glass fronted electric fire. The sitting room also has underfloor heating.
Bedroom: This is a twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes and a shower room adjacent with WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
First Floor
Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom featuring a bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. The room also has a wall mounted TV and doors to the balcony for that early morning breath of fresh air.
Second Bedroom: This is another double bedroom with en-suite shower room including a spacious shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
General
There is gas central heating on the upper floor, controlled by a thermostat and under floor heating on the ground floor. All electricity is included in the rent. Crisp white bed linen and towels are also provided (though not for the swimming pool).
Private parking for 1 car with visitor parking in the grounds of the hotel. There is a communal cycle store on the complex. This is a no smoking property. Sorry no pets allowed, no children under 10 and no Hen or Stag groups.
